Two are better than one because they have a good return for their labor. For if either of them falls, the one will lift up his companion. Hebrews 4:9-10

PHILIPPIANS 2:3
"Let nothing be done through selfish ambition or conceit, but in lowliness of mind let each esteem others better than himself."

MATTHEW
28:18-20
As a football player, picture yourself as a disciple of Jesus standing on the hillside, ready to witness him ascend into the sky. The weight of his final command to "go and make disciples of all nations" may leave your heart pounding and your mind reeling. It must be overwhelming to see your close friend and mentor, your teammate, ascend after entrusting you with such a monumental task. But remember, Jesus didn't address his call to a group of superstars; he chose ordinary people like fishermen and tax collectors—individuals who were still navigating life, just like you and me. This responsibility isn't reserved for the elite; it's a call for everyone, from students on campus to people in your local community. Embracing discipleship can be as simple as sharing spiritual readings or offering a listening ear to those in need. And in his parting words, Jesus didn't just issue a command; he also granted a promise: "I am with you always." Becoming a disciple is not just about following orders; it's an invitation to embark on the greatest adventure and truly lead by example.
